About
Billy Moon
Billy Moon is a country music artist whose story is rooted in small-town values, military service, and a lifelong passion for music. Originally from Ohio, Billy grew up surrounded by family, support, and a deep love for the power of music. From an early age, songwriting became an outlet—writing lyrics in notebooks before ever stepping into a recording studio.
After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, where she performed for years as the lead singer of the U.S. Navy’s Fleet rock band, Billy transitioned into civilian life with a mission to share her own stories through music. That military chapter shaped who she is today—disciplined, driven, and forever committed to giving back to the veteran and active-duty communities.
Now based in San Diego, Billy is turning years of writing into something tangible. After years of singing for others, 2024 marked the beginning of recording original music, with a debut album on the way that blends modern country energy with honest, heartfelt storytelling. Every lyric is steeped in real-life experience, reflecting the grit, humor, and resilience that define her journey.
At the core of everything Billy does is a love for the people who feel like home, the connective power of music, and just about every animal you can imagine. (In a new town, you’ll likely find her exploring the local zoos, sanctuaries, or animal shelters.) Whether on stage or off, she leads with authenticity, gratitude, and a desire to make music that connects—and gives back.
